The
Life You've Always Wanted

For
years I have desired about
the abundant life. The problem
is I never really experienced
it. I read books on the
subject, searched the scriptures
for some hidden mystery,
and sat through countless
church services. Sermon
after sermon would pound
my soul challenging me to
give up social sins like
smoking and drinking. I
guess the hope was that
somehow the anointed life
would come when I wasn’t
addicted to something. But
it didn’t work. Nor did
I find the missing link
in a book or seminar. And
as my hunger for abundance
grew the more restless I
became with formulas and
new revelation. I wanted
the anointed abundant life
Yahshua promised. Was this
too much to ask for?
Now
please understand that I
was born again this whole
time. I laid hands on the
sick, spoke in tongues,
and led worship in a thriving
charismatic church. I worked
in a Christian environment,
listened to Christian music,
read Christian books, and
did all the right Christian
things. But, underneath
I constantly questioned,
“Is this the abundant life?”
I had salvation and the
immersion of the Ruach HaKodesh
(Hebrew for Holy Spirit)
but I knew something was
lacking. Then, one day I
finally came to the life-changing
realization that I am sharing
with you.
According
to John 10:10, Yahshua came
to give us life in abundance.
“The thief cometh not, but
for to steal, and to kill,
and to destroy: I am come
that they might have life,
and that they might have
it more abundantly.” He
promised this but how do
we tap into this promise?
How do we see it fulfilled?
How do we experience the
abundant life? What I have
found might shock you.
But
before I stun you with the
truth, let me describe the
abundant life.
Defined,
Sort Of
The
abundant is hard to explain,
as many people talk about,
few process it, and even
fewer really experience
it.
To
me the abundant life is
not some destination that
a person comes to but rather
a lifestyle a person lives.
The anointed abundant life
is like a beautiful quilt
made of different types
of fabrics and material.
When a person lives in abundance
his life is so intertwined
with the Father that people
can’t tell the two apart.
Like a quilt sewn by the
a master craftsmen, the
abundant life is woven with
obedience and love that
always points to the Almighty.
It is a life full of shalom
(peace and blessing) and
the abundance is literally
the fruit of the Spirit.
Its beauty is rare; its
rarity makes it priceless,
and its cost is high. Because
of this, the abundant life
Yahshua promised comes only
too a few who press in past
the thrills and chills and
get serious with the creator.
It is all this and more.
Now
that you understand what
it is, here’s how to get
it…
The Shocker
The anointed abundant life
does not come fully when
a person is saved, immersed
in the Spirit, or obedient
to a set of church regulations.
It does not come when a
person is addiction free
or even demonic free. The
abundant life only comes
when a person is “in Christ.”
Before
you get offended let me
explain.
The
term “in Christ” is found
76 times in the Authorized
King James Version. These
occurrences are often associated
with powerful promises that
we will examine. But first,
Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance
writes the Greek the word
used in this phrase is “Christos.”
Christos
literally is defined “anointed,
the Messiah.” Christos is
a poor Greek substitute
for the Hebrew “Mashiyach”
which according to Strong’s
means exactly the same thing.
To be “in Christ” is to
be “in Mashiach.” And believe
it, or not, to be “in Mashiach”
is to be “in Torah.”
John
1:14, “And the Word was
made flesh, and dwelt among
us” teaches that Yahshua
is the Torah embodied in
human form. Yahshua lived,
breathed, walked, talked,
studied, taught, and prayed
Torah. Torah is in Yahshua
HaMashiach. Therefore to
be “in Mashiach” or to be
“in Christ” is to literally
be “in Torah.”
Torah
Defined
So, if you are supposed
to be “in Mashiach,” who
is “in Torah,” what is Torah?
“Torah” is the Hebrew word
meaning “teaching.” When
Torah is mentioned it is
most often associated with
the teachings of Moses.
The first five books of
the Bible are the words
which Yahweh gave to Israel
in the wilderness. These
teachings of Moses are the
building blocks Yahweh uses
to base the entire Bible,
therefore, Torah signifies
His instruction throughout
the Hebrew scriptures, including
the Prophets and the Psalms.
Since
all of His Word is His Teaching,
all of it is His Torah.
Torah is all the written
teaching of Yahweh, from
Genesis to Revelation. And
according to scripture Torah
is holy, right and good;
and useful for everyone
who belongs to Yahweh. To
be “in Mashiach” or “in
Christ” is to be in the
teachings of the word. These
teachings never contradict
themselves, are not limited
to certain dispensations,
and are all for today. (read
Matthew 5) It is important
to note that most believers
do not have a strong understanding
of the teachings of Moses
and therefore misunderstand
other scripture passages.
Though the word “Torah”
does not appear in various
Bible translations, it is
there, hidden beneath English
words like “law,” “word,”
“commandment.”
Torah
itself was stolen from the
early believers by church
leaders whose desire was
to create a separate religion
from Judaism that was not
based on anything Jewish.
Therefore, Torah with its
festivals, diet, and way
of living was dismissed
as a heavy burden not posed
to Christians. This false
teaching contradicts the
fact that Torah was given
as Yahweh’s gift to man.
This gift provides the way
sinful man may approach
a holy Elohim.
The
teachings of Moses (the
first five books of the
Bible) are the foundation
upon which the whole Bible
is based. Nothing has passed
away, nothing has been dismissed,
and nothing has been abolished.
Without properly understanding
the words of the Creator
to man, as spoken of in
the Torah of Moses, a person
can not understand how Yahweh
dealt with His people through
the ages and how Yahweh
deals with man today. For

power of Torah read Psalm
119. Now, the question is
“Are you in Torah?”
Are
you in?
The
word “in” is a very appropriate
one as it conveys the idea
of total submission. To
be “in” something means
that one property looses
is identity to another.
So when we are “in Mashiach”
we loose our identity to
Him and we become the Torah
made flesh. This is referred
to as the Torah being written
on our hearts of flesh.
To be “in Torah” or “in
Mashiach” is to consume
your life with His words,
His thoughts, His ways,
and follow Him no matter
what.
If
you want to live in the
anointing of the Spirit,
then you must live in Torah.
Sure, there are those who
experience visitations of
the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy
Spirit) but what we need
today is habitation not
visitation. This habitation
will come only when we are
obedient to Torah as a lifestyle
of intimacy and worship.
When
we do this we tap into a
hidden power of His presence,
which releases the abundant
life that Yahshua demonstrated.
This lifestyle of obedience
to Torah releases blessings
immeasurable. For everyone
who follows Torah is blessed
but, ONLY when a person
is “in Mashiach” does the
promise of abundant life
come into full effect.
There
Is A Difference
Through
a simple word study and
search I have come to the
conclusion that a person
may have faith in Yahshua
but yet never be “in Mashiach.”
This probably surprises
you, as it did me, but it
is a scriptural concept.
I’m sure you understand
that faith in Yahshua brings
eternal life. Galatians
3:26, “For ye are all the
children of Elohim (the
Mighty One of Israel) by
faith in Christ (Mashiach).”

Surprised
by Scripture
So,
salvation brings eternal
life while living “in Mashiach”
brings abundant life.
I
have been “saved” since
I was a child but is been
only a short time that I
have experienced the abundant
life by living “in Mashiach/in
Torah.” Don’t you know people
who have had a salvation
experience but never were
“a new creation?” It seems
many people convert without
ever changing (if this is
possible.) This is because
the promise of being a “new
creation” is fulfilled ONLY
when we are “in Mashiach.”
2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore
if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature: old
things are passed away;
behold, all things are become
new.” All things become
new ONLY when we are “in
Mashiach!”
Name
any popular promise from
the Brit Chadasha (New Testament)
and it will most likely
be based upon whether a
person is “in Mashiach.”
It is ONLY when we are “in
Mashiach” that we are blessed
with every Spiritual blessing,
have our needs met according
to his riches, and are alive
to Yahweh and dead to sin.
But don’t take my word for
it; here is a list that
will surprise you. According
to the Bible when we are
“in Christ” or “in Mashiach”
we are:
Alive
Yahweh and dead to sin –

Are
under no condemnation –
Romans 8
Have
the love of Yahweh – Romans

Speak
the truth – Romans 9
Are

Are

Sanctified

All
these items are taken directly
from the Scriptures and
all are true only when we
walk in Torah observance
through the power of Mashiach,
which is the anointing of
Yahshua.
How
Do We Do It
I
know this is shocking. It
wasn’t until I studied this
issue based on Torah and
a Hebraic mindset that I
came to truly understand
that the anointed abundant
life comes only when your
life is given over to Mashiach.
Matthew 10:39, “He that
loseth his life for my sake
shall find it.”
Many
who are on the outside and
looking in view Torah practice
to be a lifestyle based
on legalism. But this is
not the case. Torah as a
lifestyle is not binding
- Torah living is freedom!
A person deciding to observe
Torah is like a person diving
into a cool pool on a hot
summer day. To the dry people
all around the pool, the
water seems too cold or
dirty, but the water is
refreshing to the person
who has taken the plunge
headfirst. Sabbath keeping,
kosher eating, and kind
living become joy unspeakable
welling up from a heart
that seeks to love Yahweh
with all its resources.
Friend,
if you hunger the holy,
desire His deity, and pursue
His presence with passion
then it will come of no
huge surprise to you that
a heavy price must be paid
to walk in the anointing.
You can walk in victory!
You can experience the abundant
life Yahshua promised! All
His promises are “yes and
amen” when you are “in Mashiach.”
Through
daily practicing the presence
of Yahweh through obedience
to Torah you can grasp the
unreachable, and host the
Ruach HaKodesh.
The
Real Problem
You
see, it seems that we don’t
have a problem experiencing
the presence. Whenever we
gather together in His name
He is there. Haven’t you
experienced an awesome anointing
during a wonderful time
of worship? Haven’t you
seen signs and wonders occur
during or after a time of
praise? Haven’t you entered
the gates of thanksgiving
and the courts of praise
to find the Mashiach waiting
to bless, heal, and restore?
The
problem isn’t attracting
Yahweh, as we know that
a broken and contrite heart
will do that. The problem
comes in keeping or hosting
that presence. We are used
to visitation of His anointing
but what we all need is
a habitation of His glory.
So, how does a person walk
in Mashiach? How can you
attain the abundant life
the Son of Man promised?
This
is done by surrendering,
yet taking control. By giving
over and yet not allowing
yourself to give in. To
walk in Mashiach you must
be open and obedient. You
must be willing to change
everything, yet never change.
First,
we must recognize that the
abundance Yahshua promised
is the anointing manifest
through a lifestyle based
solely on His teachings.
When the anointing is present,
Yahweh is. Secondly, the
anointing comes when the
atmosphere is right. When
we act in obedience to Torah,
His teachings, through simple
faith Yahweh sends His presence
and power.
Obedience
is Not Enough
Let
me warn you though, obedience
is not enough. A heart in
love with Yahweh, a life
surrendered to Him is what
he desires. A person with
a bad heart condition who
exercises, eats the right
foods, and does all the
healthy things will still
die of heart failure. It
is the same with us, we
may follow Torah to the
letter but if our heart
condition is not healthy
then our obedience is in
vain. Allow Yahweh to write
His teachings upon your
heart and allow Torah observance
to flow from heart not just
your mind.
Through
a surrendered lifestyle
of worship and praise His
anointing may rest on an
individual for an extended
period of time: think of
Elijah and even Yahshua
Himself. The Bible declares
in Acts 10:38 that “Elohim
anointed Yahshua with the
Ruach HaKodesh and power,
and how he went around doing
good and healing all who
were under the power of
the devil, because Yahweh
was with Him.”
Yahshua
was anointed with the Holy
Spirit or in other words
Jesus lived in an atmosphere
that was conducive for the
Ruach to hebetate or live
in through His obedience
and love of Torah. Through
such an atmosphere the Father
accomplished His will to
heal, set free, and even
raise the dead. And through
our devotion to Torah we
can establish the Kingdom
of Heaven here on earth.
Seek to be “in Mashiach”
by being “in Torah.”
Here
are a few suggestions to
help you experience the
abundant life you’ve always
wanted:
1)
Get in the word! Faith comes
by hearing and hearing by
the Torah of Yahweh! Read
the scriptures out loud,
have your devotional time
with the Father everyday,
and seek to experience Torah
not just learn about it.
2)
Understand that you are
Israel. Israel is Yahweh’s
chosen Bride and as a believer
you are Israel. Study the
scriptures on this subject
and know your heritage is
rich, your culture is extraordinary,
and your lineage is from
the twelve tribes of the
House of Israel (twelve
sons of Jacob).
3)
Pray for the Holy Spirit
to open your eyes to the
truth found in Torah. Pray
that you may experience
the divine blessings of
walking by faith in the
complete written word. Then
take your first step towards
the lifestyle of abundance.
4)
Faithfully proclaim the
Gospel of Yahshua HaMashiach.
This is the heart of Yahweh,
as the Bible plainly says
in Romans 1, “I am not ashamed
of the gospel, because it
is the power of Elohim.”
The power of Yahweh rests
in Yahshua and Him crucified,
the atoning sacrifice. Get
back to the basics and live
a crucified life. Proclaim
that gospel through what
you do, say, and think.
5)
Bless Israel. Galatians
3:13-14, “Mashiach redeemed
us from the curse of the
law by becoming a curse
for us, for it is written:
"Cursed is everyone
who is hung on a tree He
redeemed us in order that
the blessing given to Abraham
might come to the Nations
through Mashiach, so that
by faith we might receive
the promise of the Spirit.”
The blessing of Abraham
is the anointing of Yahweh.
It is vitally important
that as believers we cooperate
with and bless Yahweh’s
purposes where Israel and
the Jews are concerned.
We need to pray for the
Jewish people, pray for
the peace of Jerusalem,
pray for the restoration
of all Israel, and pray
for Yahweh to bless all
Israel.
6)
Welcome the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:16, “So I say,
live by the Spirit, and
you will not gratify the
desires of the sinful nature.”
Everyday we should ask the
Holy Spirit to guide us,
to be our good shepherd.
When we ask for Yahweh’s
hand to be with us, we are
asking for the Holy Spirit
to guide us. We should do
this daily. A believer does
not have a deep relationship
with the Holy Spirit in
a day but daily. It takes
time to build a relationship.
7)
Cultivate the character
of Yahshua: humility, patience,
gentleness, servant hood,
self-sacrifice, purity,
holiness, love, joy, kindness,
faithfulness, self-control,
and peace. This creates
an environment in which
the Spirit is delighted
to remain in.
8)
Practice consistent times
of prayer and fasting. There
is no substitute for this.
Even Yahshua went alone
to pray…do you?
9)
Speak in tongues regularly,
with praise and thanksgiving.
This is critical lifeline
to the heart of Elohim,
yet too many believers don’t
practice this Ruach given
prayer language. “In everything
give thanks; for this is
the will of Yahweh in Mashiach
for you.” 1 Corinthians
14:5, “I would like every
one of you to speak in tongues”
and 39 “do not forbid speaking
in tongues.”
10)
Offer a sacrifice of praise.
Bless Yahweh regularly.
Always have a song on your
lips and remind yourself
daily of how great Hashem
is. One way to do this is
to continually read the
Psalms. Pray, sing, shout,
claim, and live the book
of Psalms. Rom 12:1 –2,
“Therefore, I urge you,
brothers, in view of Yahweh’s
mercy, to offer your bodies
as living sacrifices, holy
and pleasing to Elohim--this
is your spiritual act of
worship. Do not conform
any longer to the pattern
of this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your
mind. Then you will be able
to test and approve what
Yahweh's will is--his good,
pleasing and perfect will.”
Live your life as a living
sacrifice to Yahweh.
11)
Find a place of worship
that teaches Torah from
a Hebraic mindset and support
that congregation with prayers
and ministry. Fellowship
with likeminded believers
and see that this can be
done!
12)
Daily read from the Old
and New Testaments of your
Bible. Pray and seek His
face. Apply the blood of
Yahshua, break curses, speak
blessings, and have before
you good things. Think good
thoughts, say good things,
do good deeds. Phil 4:8,
“Finally, brothers, whatever
is true, whatever is noble,
whatever is right, whatever
is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable--if
anything is excellent or
praiseworthy--think about
such things.”
13)
Forward this to ten friends
and challenge them to live
"in Torah." As
they do, discuss your walk
with them and join in prayer
for the body of believers
who are now walking in Torah.
Now
Just Live It
These
are just a few suggestions
to walking in the anointing
of Torah. Practice them
and attract the Holy Spirit
to your everyday life for
Yahweh longs to pour out
His presence upon His people
to effect this generation.
He is looking now for a
hungry heart to fill with
his goodness, not just during
worship service but everyday
of year. He wants His children
to be just like Yahshua
– anointed with the Holy
Spirit, doing good deeds,
healing the sick, and driving
out demons through a surrendered
lifestyle to Torah. He is
seeking a people who will
pray “not my will, but thine
will be done.” He is calling
forth a remnant who will
love Torah and follow the
footsteps of the Mashiach
as He walked in Torah.
By
being “in Mashiach” we create
a dwelling place for Yahweh
as walking “in Mashiach”
means to walk in the “anointing”
or the “presence of Yahweh.”
Will you surrender your
life to his will as revealed
in Torah?
